In our new place the rats have a room all to themselves. We call it the Rumpus Room...or Rat Room. Right now it's basically our miscellaneous room - but the girls have more or less claimed it as their own. Its a small room and there aren't really any places for them to escape to (no radiators or holes in the floor or anything) so when they come out they basically get to roam the entire room. There is an unplugged mini-fridge in there and they're determined to get behind it though...which is kind of annoying.
Edit: Because DeviantArt is crappy and won't let me post pictures without paying for the ability to do so...you'll have to enjoy links instead.

This is them attempting to find their way under, around, and/or behind the minifridge. It was angering me thus the look of fear in their faces..er face.

She didn't move at all between this picture and the last. Normally Olive is the startled one...
Image 3
They were being terribly photogenic this outing; but alas my camera was being terribly crappy at the same time.
Image 4
I attempted to block the minifridge escape routes with books and crap. Thus...they turned the books into their houses. Here Zoey is greeting her new neighbor.
Image 5
They're being awfully cute lately - don't know if it's because I keep feeding them treats (they seem to love twizzlers!), and buying them presents (they're pretty fond of these shred-a-boxes I got them too). Perhaps it's just because they get to run around and feel like they own the apartment.
I certainly don't mind the cuteness - if only increase their adorability while decreasing their aroma...

I'm in class right now, I'm suppose to be out taking pictures, but i'm being lazy.
